Updated some of the fun pictures from approximatly the last 6 months. We've also thrown some candy for you up on youtube.com. I suspect that I would have a truck load more of fun for you had I not been spending the last week's evenings watching Lost season 2. And Dean has been watching me watch Lost. Exciting times here at Fort Jesus! And check out some really stellar music from Frank Turner!

So the plan is to be a cowboy from the 1980's for Halloween. I want to shave so bad. In other news my Christmas card is coming along quite nicely and I've added a couple pictures to the hawaii page and some new conversations I've had.

So it seems that other people have discovered the horrible secret of hanging out with me. You will remember laughing a lot, but you will not remember what it was about. Welcome to my very forgetful world. I'm putting together a calendar for 2010 from all the Hawai'i pictures, however I have no idea how to go about getting it printed. Staples has an easy button... However I have no Staples. I also dont think stapling a calendar completely together would make it a very useful calendar. And as far as the Hawai'i pictures go, Bing has been sending me a ton of traffic, Google on the other hand... none. Bing +1.

It would have been more appropriate to post yesterday when it was 9/9/09 but oh well. I went on a hiking trip to Kauai with 5 dudes from One Love, together we made up the Kauai 6. It was amazing. The first day we hiked along Na Pali coast to the Hanikapi'ai Beach and the sea had washed up a ton of sand since last I was there. We were able to troll around and go into some caves and climb about on the rocks. We hiked up the valley to the waterfall and I've now checked off 'swim in a waterfall in Hawai'i' from my list of things to do. Day 2 we went on what some people on the world wide tubes are refering to as 'the hardest trail on Kauai' or 'The Secret Tunnels' trail. Covering about 2.5 miles took over 2 hours which put us at the enterance to some tunnels built back in the 20's to kidnap water for the sugar cane fields. We hiked through them, through water, through mud, through old 'A' frames to the Ka'apoko Falls. Again breathtaking. And not because I drown! Sunday we did the chill thing and drove to waterfalls and chilled on the beach, all together quite possibly one of the best trips I've been on. Check out the updated pictures in the Hawai'i pictures section.

The lindyhop lessons for the next 5 weeks, put on by The Hawaii Jitterbugs, look like they will be awesome. Tonight was great! The house I live in commonly is refered to as "the creepy old mansion" by the children that go to the school by us. Adding to the effect, I feel, are the large green splotches of different hues someone painted on the side of the house to see what they would look like. Well this was months ago and the splotches remain. I want to complete the effect and paint different colored green splotches on the entire house so the neighbors don't have to look at it any more. Our pseudo-roommate is red green color blind. I wonder when he was a child he painted landscapes with red grass and thought to himself "that looks great." And with anyluck we will be filming "Who Wants To Be A Man!" here very soon.

Updated the photography section with some new smoke pictures and updated the photography section with a bunch of new photos. Working on the Todd film and completed a Matt Chafin Bonafied Underwater Training Video. Link coming soon! And as far as graduate work goes, analyzers ONLINE!

7.13.2k9

I've created a new page on the site to show case some of the photography I've been doing. The pictures pretty much fit no where, so I made a new section for them. If you would like a high res photo or a print feel free to contact me and I'll see what I can do. The short films for everyone in the house are on the tip of my... brain? And I found a great dude who is going to play the Holy Spirit for us! This IS going to be amazing.

So the mac mini server is going pretty good even if I dont have a monitor for it... I did get a keyboard and mouse though! I'm going to have a picture section up at some point in time of photography. Also I've decided that we are going to make short films for everyone that lives in my house. I know what you're thinking. "Does Toddimus have his own theme song?" Duh... and Dean has a cape.

6.24.2k9

I've moved the server over to a donated Mac Mini. Its small.. and a box. Only a couple things do not work, however I will make them!... later. The thesis proposal was accepted! Now onto experiments. New Hawaii pictures as well.

6.15.2k9

So many hours spent writing my thesis proposal - "An Experimental Investigation of Reverse Vortex Flow Plasma Reforming of Methane." I am almost done with the proposal. I make my presentation to my committee on Thursday. After that... FRIDAY!... and then I get to start experiments. This should be good. Well anything not writing is a change of pace and will be awesome. Gnickey and I have put our courting relationship on hold, which I feel is what God wants at this time and place. So next step... Wait. And in the mean time I'll take some pictures. The Hawai'i pictures have been updated, and I may start a photography section as well. At the current time I just got my web server back up and running which is great. So Hello World, oh we back... again. Also Todd has moved into the collective and we should have some more short films with any luck soon! Also I've decided to add all the pictures I've put on facebook onto my site in their full resolution glory! Going to add two new sections, a general photography section, a people section and a blessed to be here section! For the time being the fun pictures are updated.

So I figure God puts annoying people in your path to make you grow. I figure these same people will try to take your money so that you can realize you don't need it. I also figure that being upset because of someone or some circumstances is probably not worth the worry, God does have it under control. God speed Ed. So that said my new house is just that much better! And I've been playing with the Nikon D50! It is amazing. I need more time in any given day. That would be nice. I need to finish up some glass projects. I think I'll do that soon. This update was really because I changed the detailed picture of the "Purple Glass Window" piece in the art section to a cleaned up version, and to update that wonderful quote!

Moved into a new place? Check. Purchased a good camera? Check! Blessed on both accounts? Check! So I've moved into the house owned by Kaimuki Christian Church with 6 other dudes... that are almost my age... like not 50! Its simply amazing! And following Markusmaximus' example I started scowering Craigslist for a nice digital SLR. I came across a Nikon D50 with 2 lenses for a song! Needless to say I'll have more pictures up soon! Also the update on this post means i've not blown myself up in the lab and thus gradschool continues to go well!

So I asked Gnickiey out. And she hesitantly agreed to go on a date with me. Which was quite possibly the most boring thing ever. The end. Or it was crazy awesome and we hiked all around Hanauma Bay's crater and saw whales and threw Tony The Rock into the ocean, then on Valentines weekend we went to Kauai which was crazy awesome. You decide! New pictures from Kauai! (You that guessed the first choice, the boring one - lose one point.)

Sometimes I think I am an idiot. During these moments I may just be right. But lets hope not and see what the future holds :). New drawing.
